Playing Time Requirements

 

FIELDERS including Designated Hitter:

                Based on PLATE APPEARANCES   (PA)                (AB+BB+HBP+SH+SF)

                                FULL-TIME PLAYER---------------650

                                PLATOON-----------------------------   175 PA v. Left    

                                                                                              525 PA v. Right

 

PITCHERS (entire staff, included farmed)

1.                   Usage =  Time only

2.                   Based on BATTERS FACED (BF) and INNINGS PITCHED  (IP):

                                                Staff BF----------------------6250+

                                                Staff IP-----------------------1445+

 

                STARTING PITCHERS:

                                Based on a five man rotation using actual GAMES STARTED (GS)

                                         1.  FULL TIME STARTER-------------28 GS per slot

                                              PLATOON STARTERS------------32 GS total per slot         

                                              Assigned GAMES PITCHED LIMIT-----33/33/32/32/32

 

                                         2.  Skip Rotation with 4 FULL TIME and 1 PART TIME starter:

                                               32 GS per FULL TIME slot

                                               20 GS for the PART TIME starter

                                               Assigned GAMES PITCHED LIMIT-----35/35/34/34/24

 

                RELIEF PITCHERS:

Each team must have 5 rated RELIEVERS on the Active Roster at all times during the season. None of the pitchers used to meet this requirement can be in your starting rotation.

 

All RELIEF PITCHERS will be limited to 150% of their Actual BATTERS FACED (BF) numbers. When a RELIEVER reaches or exceeds 150% BF, they will be automatically farmed and cannot be used again until the playoffs, if applicable.
